1955 I stayed for one year au-pair by Mrs. and Mr. Crowe, but I did`nt had to look after children,because their son Dennis was`nt wearing diapers anymore, he was already married with Ruby. I had a wonderful time with them, so I could say a long friendship started. The whole family Crowe came to visit me in my home in Bavaria 1970, Dennis and Ruby two times more, once with their friends Sheila and Allan and Dennis was alwasy in the focus of activities and fun. On the other hand my son Stefan and Petra my niece, both with friends had wonderful holidays staying in England with Dennis and Ruby. In my memory, Dennis was a real respectable man, I especially loved his sense of humor. Fortunately, after 65 years, I have still contact with the Crowe-family, now with the 3. generation with Andrew , the son of Dennis. Pixie ( that`s the pet name Mush, the mother of Dennis, gave me )
